The experimental predictions of $R_D$, $R_{D^*}$, $R_{J/\psi}$, $P_\tau^{D^*}$ and $F_L^{D^*}$ in $B$ decays mediated via $b\,\to\, c\, l\,\nu$ quark level transition deviate significantly from the standard model expectations.
