We compute the $J/\psi$ polarization observables $\lambda_\theta$, $\lambda_\phi$, $\lambda_{\theta\phi}$ in a Color Glass Condensate (CGC) + nonrelativistic QCQ (NRQCD) formalism that includes contributions from both color singlet and color octet intermediate states.
