D0 uses a right-handed coordinate system, with the z z -axis pointing in the direction of the proton beam and the y y -axis pointing upwards. The azimuthal angle ϕ \phi is defined in the x y xy plane and is measured from the x x -axis. The pseudorapidity is defined as η = − ln [ tan ( θ / 2 ) ] \eta=-\ln[\tan(\theta/2)] , where θ \theta is the polar angle. Detector η \eta ( η d \eta_{d} ) is the η \eta of an object measured from the nominal detector center
