We use a cylindrical coordinate system where the z z axis is along the proton beam direction and θ \theta is the polar angle. Pseudorapidity is η = − ln tan ( θ / 2 ) \eta=-\ln\tan(\theta/2) , while transverse momentum is p T = | p | sin θ p_{T}=|p|\sin\theta , and transverse energy is E T = E sin θ E_{T}=E\sin\theta .
