The Gordon decomposition is applicable only to massive case. In huang Huang interpreted the σ μ ν \sigma^{\mu\nu} term in the Gordon decomposition as z i t t e r b e w e g u n g zitterbewegung . If this is taken to be valid, then in flavour dynamics, the magnetic penguin operators penguin describing the b → s b\rightarrow s quark transition in the b → s + γ b\rightarrow s+\gamma or g g , where γ \gamma and g g refers to photon and gluon respectively, is a zitterbewegung process!
