Using tools from the representation theory of compact Lie groups, we formulate a theory of Barren Plateaus (BPs) for parameterized quantum circuits whose observables lie in their dynamical Lie algebra (DLA), a setting that we term Lie algebra Supported Ansatz (LASA).
