We present a new measurement of the positive muon magnetic anomaly, $a_\mu \equiv (g_\mu - 2)/2$, from the Fermilab Muon $g\!-\!2$ Experiment using data collected in 2019 and 2020.

We use the shielded proton-to-electron magnetic moment ratio [ 16 ] and the electron g g -factor [ 17 , 18 ] measurement. The CODATA-2018 result is used for the muon-to-electron mass ratio [ 19 ] , which is determined from bound-state QED theory and measurements described in Ref. [ 20 ] . The QED factor μ e ( H ) / μ e \mu_{e}(H)/\mu_{e} is computed by theory with negligible uncertainty [ 19 ]
