Neutrino many-body correlations

This paper responds to suggestions that the standard approach to collective neutrino oscillations leaves out potentially important quantum many-body correlations.

• Arguments in favor of this idea have been based on calculations that, on close scrutiny, offer no evidence either way.
• Inadequacies of the usual quantum-kinetic formalism are not currently supported by the literature.
