We study inhomogeneous 1+1-dimensional quantum many-body systems described by Tomonaga-Luttinger-liquid theory with general propagation velocity and Luttinger parameter varying smoothly in space, equivalent to an inhomogeneous compactification radius for free boson conformal field theory.
