Electrical conductivity and Hall conductivity of hot and dense quark gluon plasma in a magnetic field: a quasi particle approach

We estimate here the electrical and Hall conductivity using a quasiparticle approach for quark matter.

• We use a Boltzmann kinetic approach in presence of external magnetic field.
• We confront the results of model calculations with Lattice QCD simulations for vanishing magnetic field.
• In general electrical conductivity decreases with magnetic field.
