We numerically compute the renormalized expectation value $\langle\hat{\Phi}^{2}\rangle_{ren}$ of a minimally-coupled massless quantum scalar field in the interior of a four-dimensional Reissner-Nordstrom black hole, in both the Hartle-Hawking and Unruh states.
