For GBN, we use the full TB dispersion presented in Ref. 5 . For TBG we calculate band structure using continuum model where interlayer hopping is allowed for three distinct wave vectors whose directions are given by ( 0 , − 1 ) (0,-1) , ( − 3 / 2 , 1 / 2 ) (-\sqrt{3}/2,1/2) and ( 3 / 2 , 1 / 2 ) (\sqrt{3}/2,1/2) . We diagonalize a 392 × \times 392 matrix extending the cutoff wave vector outside the first Brillouin zone
