We investigate the propagation of gravitational waves in linearized Chern-Simons (CS) modified gravity by considering two nondynamical models for the coupling field $\theta$: (i) a domain wall and (ii) a surface layer of $\theta$, motivated by their relevance in condensed matter physics.
