Real Tachyon Vacuum Solution without Square Roots

In this note we present a real tachyon vacuum solution for open bosonic string field theory which does not require computing square roots of states in the wedge algebra.

• We study its algebraic structure, prove the equation of motion and show that the solution supports no cohomology.
• Finally we show that its energy is in agreement with the value predicted by Sen's conjecture.
