Schwinger Effect in (A)dS and Charged Black Hole

In an (Anti-) de Sitter space and a charged black hole the Schwinger effect is either enhanced by the Hawking radiation or suppressed by the negative curvature.

• We use the contour integral method to calculate the production of charged pairs in the global (A)dS space.
• The charge emission from near-extremal black hole is found from the AdS geometry near the horizon and interpreted as the Schwinger effect in a Rindler space with the surface gravity for the acceleration as well as the Schwinger effect in AdS space.
