We study the effect of scalar leptoquarks on the exclusive rare $B$ meson decays $\bar{B}_d^0 \rightarrow \bar{K}^{* 0}\left(\rightarrow K^-\pi^+\right) l^+ l^-$ in the full kinematically accessible physical region.
