The waveform phase for a neutron star binary can be split into point-particle terms and finite-size terms (characterized by the Love number) that account for equation of state effects.

After completing this paper, we were made aware that a broader analysis was independently and simultaneously being carried out Favata 2013 . We have compared our results with theirs Favata 2013 , and find that (after correcting an error in Favata 2013 ) our results were in good agreement with theirs. Our results thus quantitatively agree with those of Favata 2013 in the appropriate limits. The major difference is that we concentrate on EoS measurements, and go beyond their analysis for that problem
