We use a cylindrical coordinate system with its origin at the center of the detector, where θ \theta and ϕ \phi are the polar and azimuthal angles, respectively, and pseudorapidity is η = − ln ( tan ( θ 2 ) ) \eta=-\ln(\tan(\frac{\theta}{2})) . The missing E T E_{T} ( / E → T \hskip 1.42262pt\big/\penalty\hskip-8.22487pt{\overrightarrow{E}_{T}} ) is defined by / E → T = − ∑ i E T i 𝐧 ^ 𝐢 \hskip 1.42262pt\big/\penalty\hskip-8.22487pt{\overrightarrow{E}_{T}}=-\sum_{i}E_{T}^{i}{\bf\hat{n}_{i}} , where i = i= calorimeter tower number and 𝐧 ^ 𝐢 {\bf\hat{n}_{i}} is a unit vector perpendicular to the beam axis and pointing at the i th i^{\rm th} calorimeter tower. / E → T \hskip 1.42262pt\big/\penalty\hskip-8.22487pt{\overrightarrow{E}_{T}} is corrected for high-energy muons and jet energy. We define / E T = | / E → T | \hskip 1.42262pt\big/\penalty\hskip-8.22487pt{E_{T}}=|\hskip 1.42262pt\big/\penalty\hskip-8.22487pt{\overrightarrow{E}_{T}}| . The / E → T t r k \hskip 1.42262pt\big/\penalty\hskip-8.22487pt{\overrightarrow{E}_{T}^{trk}} is defined as the negative vector sum of track p T p_{T} ’s requiring tracks with p T > 0.5 GeV p_{T}>0.5\,\,\mathrm{GeV}\, . We define / E T t r k = | / E → T t r k | \hskip 1.42262pt\big/\penalty\hskip-8.22487pt{E_{T}^{trk}}=|\hskip 1.42262pt\big/\penalty\hskip-8.22487pt{\overrightarrow{E}_{T}^{trk}}|
