Using form factors enrolled to the transition matrix elements and calculated via light-cone QCD sum rules including next-to-leading order corrections in the strong coupling constant, we provide a systematic analysis of the $ B_s\rightarrow f_0 (980)\ell^+\ell^- $ both in the standard and universal extra dimension models.
