CDF uses a cylindrical coordinate system with the z z axis along the proton beam axis. Pseudorapidity is η ≡ − ln ( tan ( θ / 2 ) ) \eta\equiv-\ln(\tan(\theta/2)) , where θ \theta is the polar angle relative to the proton beam direction, and ϕ \phi is the azimuthal angle while p T = | p | sin θ p_{T}=|p|\ \sin\theta , E T = E sin θ E_{T}=E\ \sin\theta
