Fluctuations, correlations and some other recent results from lattice QCD

I summarize recent results from lattice QCD on a few selected topics which are of interest to the heavy-ion physics community.

• Special emphasis is placed upon observables related to fluctuations of conserved charges and their connection to event-by-event fluctuations in heavy-ion collision experiments.
