We present a measurement of the top quark mass and of the top-antitop pair production cross section using p-pbar data collected with the CDFII detector at the Tevatron Collider at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.9 fb-1.

The missing transverse energy / E T → \vec{\mbox{$\raisebox{1.29167pt}{$\not$}\mbox{$E_{T}$}$}} is calculated as the vector sum of the energy in each calorimeter tower multiplied by a unit vector in the azimuthal direction of the tower. If isolated high momentum muons are found in the event, the / E T → \vec{\mbox{$\raisebox{1.29167pt}{$\not$}\mbox{$E_{T}$}$}} is corrected by subtracting the muon energy in the calorimeter and adding the muon p T p_{T} to the vector sum. / \not
