We have searched for CP violation in the charmed meson decays $D^{+}_{(s)}\to K^0_S\pi^+$ and $D^{+}_{(s)}\to K^0_S K^+$ using 673 fb$^{-1}$ of data collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider.

We define A x + ≡ [ N x + − N x − ] / [ N x + + N x − ] A^{x^{+}}\equiv[N^{x^{+}}-N^{x^{-}}]/[N^{x^{+}}+N^{x^{-}}] . Hence A x − = − A x + A^{x^{-}}=-A^{x^{+}}

The leading-order prediction for A F B c c ¯ A^{c\bar{c}}_{FB} at s \sqrt{s} =10.6 GeV is about − 0.029 cos θ CMS / ( 1 + cos 2 θ CMS ) -0.029\cos\theta^{\rm CMS}/(1+\cos^{2}\theta^{\rm CMS}) . See for example O. Nachtmann, Elementary Particle Physics, Springer-Verlag (1989)
