In this paper we consider a massless scalar field, with a possible coupling $\xi$ to the Ricci scalar in a $D$ dimensional FLRW spacetime with a constant deceleration parameter $q=\epsilon-1$, $\epsilon=-{\dot{H}}/{H^2}$.
