Using a singlet-octet mixing angle of 39 ∘ , the branching fraction ℬ ( D + → ϕ e + ν e ) ∼ 2 × 10 − 6 {\cal B}(D^{+}\rightarrow\phi e^{+}\nu_{e})\sim 2\times 10^{-6} and we expect less than 10 events from this source in our data sample

It is normalized such that: ∫ m ϕ − δ m ϕ + δ ( p ∗ / m ) | 𝒜 ϕ ( m ) | 2 d m 2 ≃ 2 arctan ( 2 δ / Γ ϕ 0 ) \int_{m_{\phi}-\delta}^{m_{\phi}+\delta}(p^{*}/m)|{\cal A}_{\phi}(m)|^{2}dm^{2}\simeq 2\arctan(2\delta/\Gamma^{0}_{\phi}) where δ \delta is a small mass interval and Γ ϕ 0 \Gamma^{0}_{\phi} is the total width of the ϕ \phi . The breakup momentum of the ϕ \phi is denoted as p ∗ p^{*}
