We argue that relatively compact charmonium states, $J/\psi$, $\psi(2S)$, $\chi_c$, can very likely be bound inside light hadronic matter, in particular inside higher resonances made from light quarks and/or gluons.

Most recently the resonance Y ( 4.66 ) Y(4.66) has been discussed in terms of a bound state of ψ ( 2 S ) \psi(2S) with f 0 ( 980 ) f_{0}(980) , which can be viewed as a particular realization of a hadro-charmonium state, in F.-K. Guo, C. Hanhart and U.-G. Meißner, arXiv:0803.1392 [hep-ph]
