Flavour Changing Neutral Current decays of the $B$-meson are a very useful tool for studying possible physics scenarios beyond the Standard Model (SM), where of the many FCNC modes radiative, purely leptonic and semi-leptonic decays of the $B$-meson are relatively clean tests.
